My previous ID was driving me absolutely MAD, it was so horrible. So, I made this one. I've been trying to work this into my schedule, since IDs are fun to make and such. :3
This isn't a new OC, but rather my original dream horse. When I was younger, I had always wanted a quaint little chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail, four white feet, and a tidy blaze. Mare or gelding, I didn't care. This was just what I wanted my horse to look like. (Now, of course, I have Val, and he changes color EACH YEAR! Yay for chocolate horseys that turn grey!  )I'm working on a coloring style that I can use for my Patriarchum comics that doesn't take forever, so this was also a demo run for that at the same time.  I really like this. It's so peaceful and nice, and the wind reminds me of the little breezes in Okami. And, I intentionally didn't list the things that I don't like on it; that takes away from the positivity of any ID, I think. My lineart is getting there... We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. Red chestnuts are gorgeous. I used to know a little Egyptian Arabian filly named Gypsy who was the exact color you're talking about, and she was a show-stopper. Well, minus the blue eyes. lol

Really? o.o I think I had heard her name before but where? *trying to remember where that little filly named Gypsy from* I don't know if you have a picture of her, I used to go all the Arabian horse website where they sell their beauties.
