Okai, so I can't focus on my school work that well today. It stinks, 'cause I can't get anything done, and, if I force through it, I won't remember any of it tomorrow. So, YEAH! I'm going to update my journal just for the heck of it. (Been meaning to do this for a while, anyway.)

New York! I'm leaving early early early next Friday morning (the 28th, I believe) and I will be arriving back home the following week on Wednesday (the 2nd). With that said, I will leave the rest up to your good common sense, my friends, to figure out that you will not be hearing from me during those few days. Cheerio.
I'm gonna be upset if they've taken the big Yami Yuugi down at the big Toys 'R' Us there. Very upset. In fact, I just might cry. Or fangirl deathsqueal. *is curious now what that would sound like...*

WIPs! *pulls out her Mew notepad* According to my trusty write-down-whatever-here memo pad featuring Mew, my second favorite Pokemon, which I bought when I was at Epcot back in October of '06 that I still haven't used up yet, I have roughly 14 arts in the making. Six of which are for other people for various reasons, three that were inspired by my friends, three that involve Atemu x Mana goodness, two comics, and-- *goes silent*

That's the only time I've ever said "kawaii" on the internet, and there's a good reason for it: Recently, I've found that I'm seriously attracted to cute things. Very cute things. I mean, who can resist little unnaturally colored animals with big heads and huge, shiny dislocated eyes? I can't. These things really are the real kawaii. *nods*

The unthinkable has happened. LittleKuriboh featured my artwork in his latest journal entry. (So, that's why all those people came flocking to my page...) Roughly 1,000 views in half a day, which doesn't surprise me at all, but MAN. I am, like, SO honored.

I can't tell you how astonished I am that this has happened. I mean, it's not like I fear LK like I fear the dear Lord above or anuhthing, but... yeah. This is just cool beyond reason. :>

On another note, I'm having to step away from the arts for a little while. I'm finishing up my job, getting ready to go to NY, and getting my focus back to my schoolwork, so I'm really busy right now. :/
But, there are too many things that I WANT to finish for me to stay away from it for too long. I'm not taking a break, but just not submitting stuffs right now.

Now, THAT is some serious crack. It's so funny that, if it was making fun of Yami no Yuugi instead, I wouldn't be able to watch it. And, the funny part is the random Yami inserts. Yami's all like, "This guy is absolutely NUTS."

So, yeah, I'm looking all over for that Caramelldansen Speedycake Remix MP3, but I can't find it anywhere. D: Anyone have a lead as to where I can get my hands on it?

Okai, I have stuff to do, so I need to get off of here. xD

Today was really nice. My mom brought me roses from my favorite florist (just for the heck of it) while I was at work, so everyone was all over them, trying to get a good sniff. x'D All of my favorite regulars came into the store, so there was plenty of opportunity today to smile and laugh. ^^
(I'm going to be quitting my job soon, so I'm making the most of my last few weeks. I'll just say that it's becoming more difficult to be a full-time student, a web designer, and work all at the same time. Not to mention that I'm hardly getting any arts completed right now.)

After work, I headed over to YoYo's--the local bubble tea shop--to get some of the best bubble tea I've ever had. It's called Creamy Jasmine Green Tea (with tapioca pearls, of course), and it tastes like a wild spring garden in a cup. It's amazing. Now that I think about it, it resembles honeysuckle a lot in its taste; very refreshing and uplifting. ^^

Thanks, everyone, for submitting your favorite pieces of art for me to print out and put on my little white door! I'll get that done once everyone's told me which art or quote of theirs they want me to use!

I'm so excited about going to New York. Two-and-a-half weeks to go. OMG.
